VaultCentral's service integrates easily with your existing backup procedures, and incorporates the following features and benefits.

Features	Benefits

Secure offsite storage	Your backups are securely stored at an undisclosed location. All backups are individually managed and safe from theft, damage, loss, the environment and unauthorized access. We are guided by ISO 18923 and ISO 18933.

Delivery & return of backup media	We deliver the correct media to you for each backup, and promptly return the media to storage once the backup has been made. Transport packaging has been tested by the CSIRO and provides temperature, humidity and impact protection.

Standard or custom backup rotation schedules	Choose one of our standard, proven backup schedules or design one that suits your specific requirements. Each schedule incorporates multiple backups that are cycled through, ensuring that you can easily recover current or archived data.

Security and Confidentiality	Each backup is sealed in a tamper-evident container by you, and then placed in protective packaging before being returned to us. Access to stored backups is strictly controlled and monitored and our team follows well-defined, strict operating procedures.

Reminders	Our advanced computer system automatically reminds you when a backup needs to be done.

24/7 retrieval and rapid response	You can contact us 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to arrange retrieval of a backup. The response time is specified by you – in one to two hours if necessary.

Regular reports	We provide you with regular reports on backup activities and the status of backups in our care. A full history is available for each backup.

Online Self-Service	A secure login via your unique username and password will provide you with access to your account details, a view of all your media in rotation and storage, monthly reports and the ability to request non-urgent retrievals.
